We have to leave this island. Gather some seagull feathers along the shore and bring them to me.
Get to work
Thank you for gathering the feathers, now I must begin making wings out of them .
Of course, Father. Now let's start flying.
Icarus you must remember to not go to close to the sun or the wax will melt and you'll fall.
Icarus and his father, Daedalus, were trapped on an island called Crete. King Menos trapped them there. Daedalus told Icarus to go fetch some feathers from seagulls.
Icarus stay away from the sun!
When Icarus gathered enough feathers, Daedalus went to work. He made wings out of wax and feathers and molded them together.
SON! STAY CALM! I'LL TRY TO GET YOU OUT OF THIS!
When the day of the flight came Daedalus gave Icarus some warnings to keep him safe during their voyage across the sea.
I'm so sorry Icarus.
Icarus and Daedalus took off in flight, and the feeling of freedom Icarus felt bewitched him, and made him forget the rules Daedalus gave him, and Daedalus was worried something bad would happen to him.
This is amazing, father!
Once he forgotten the rules, he flew too close to the sun and the wax on the wings started to melt. This caused him to lose his wings and fall towards the surface of the water. Daedalus tried to fly down and save him but it was too late.
AAAH! HELP ME FATHER!
Daedalus retrieved his body after he fell and took him too an island and buried him. In his honor, Daedalus made a museum with the remaining wings, and he lived there forever.
