  • In the very beginning of Act 2 John Proctor enters there house and Elizabeth asks john why he was out so late. He was planting in the forest.
  • How may that mouse frighten you, Elizabeth? you-
  • It is a mouse no more. I forbid her go, and she raises up her chi like the daughter of a prince..
  • Women. I'll not have your suspicion any more
  • this scene is saying how John asks Elizabeth to go with him and walk the farm together.

  • Elizabeth and John Proctor are basically saying how Mary Warren is forbidden in Salem and he then ends up saying it was Elizabeth's fault she went.
  • John, if it were not Abigail that you must get hurt, would you falter now? I think not.
  • They are talking about Mary Warren and how she frightened all of Elizabeths strength away.
  • They are speaking of Abigail.
  • They are talking Abigail again.
