Before Earth was formed the Big Bang happened about 13.7 billion years ago. This started the Geological Timescale.
When Earth was forming, the Atmosphere was full with carbon dioxide and ammonia was produced. Therefor the Cyanobacteria was producing more oxygen that formed the Ozone Layer. This is why Photosynthesis is here today.
Pangea was before the Jurassic and Triassic time era. When Earth was first forming it was filled with volcanoes. This was when the Laws of Superposition had the Igneous, Metamorphic, and Sedimentary rock.
When the Plate Boundaries(Convergent/Divergent) where forming, the Plate Tectonics were also moving in the first years of Earth.
The Fossil Records were found in Igneous, Metamorphic, and Sedimentary rocks. This is why we can find Fossils in these rocks. Although Fossils are hard to find, they are often found in these types of rocks.
The Big Bang happened 13.7 billion years ago. Earth was formed 4.6 billion years ago. Thanks to the rock types, we can find the Fossils in them and can explain the history of our Earth.
