Storyboard Text

  • 2 party/3 party issue
  • The 2 party/3 party issue is one of the many problems in the Electoral college. It starts with three different parties, two of them are primary (republican and democrat), and the third one is not (independent).
  • Most often, one of the primary parties has the most voters, in this case it's the democrat, and the independent has very little voters compared to the two other parties. The independent probably wont win.
  • Republican
  • Independent
  • Democrat slightly larger amount of voters than republican
  • But some of the democratic voters may check the independent out and find out they agree with his policies more. This splits the democratic party so both the democrat and independent have less voters than the republican, now.
  • Republican now has more votes than Democrat
  • some of Democrats voters
  • Winner!
  • All your fault! Now HE'S president!
  • One party can get mad at the other for "stealing votes" and "letting the other party win".
  • You wouldn't be much better!
