  • We have great achievements in culture and poetry as well as architecture.
  • Japan consists of many islands, so it is isolated in water. About seven tenths of japan is mountains. Japan is surrounded by the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean.
  • Politics of Japan
  • We imitated the Chinese government.
  • Buddhism is currently the most popular religion in Japan. Buddhism is polytheistic or believes in more than one god. There are many temples and shrines dedicated to Buddhism in Japan.
  • Economics of Japan
  • Because of advances in agriculture, trade and population increased.
  • Japan has made huge cultural impact on the modern world. Many Japanese poets have written great works of art and some buildings in japan have been standing for hundreds of years.
  • Social Structure of Japan
  • Japan was originally people who left China because they disliked Chinese society. They imitated their writing and government and created their own empire.
  • Japan began to rapidly increase in population in 1280. Because of surplus of food japan started making products such as steel, silver and ink to trade.
  • There were nine social ranks and the top three consisted of nobles and government officials. The other six were common folk and servants.
  • The emperor is on top of the social structure.
