  • Oh no! Is Gimpy keeping that money? No, it couldn't be
  • Charlie is conflicted on wether or not he should tell Mr. Donner about what Gimpy did. He had always stood up for him when nobody else had, but then again, he owed his everything to Mr. Donner and couldn't stand to him be taken advantage of.
  • What am I going to do? I can't let Gimpy get away with this, but I don't want him to lose his job, he was always so nice to me.  Maybe if I just talk to him, he'll decide to do the right thing.
  • Donner's Bakery
  • Charlie decides to confront Gimpy, but to still give him a chance to do the right thing. Gimpy feels betrayed by Charlie, and tells him to watch his back.
  • Gimpy, "my friend" having a dilemma. One of their friends is stealing from their boss and they dont know what to do. They say that if they just stop, the won't tell anyone about it.
  • I can tell you you’ll be sorry you stuck your nose in. I always stood up for you. I should have had my head examined.
  • Charlie's coworkers start to treat Charlie as an outsider and he realizes that they had never really considered him as a friend. He suspects that Gimy told them about their fight.
  • I'm busy Charlie, go away.
  • Yeah Charlie, get out.
  • Hey Joe, do you...
  • Charlie gets fired from his job because the employees are jealous of his newfound intellectual abilities and want him gone. They are also mad that he told Gimpy to stop stealing money from the bakery. He is devastated, as Donner's bakery was the only real home he had ever had.
  • Charlie, I don't know how to tell you this, but everybody has made a petition to have you fired and I have no choice but to listen to them. I'm sorry.
  • Please let me stay! This is the only job I've ever had. It's like my home. Let me try to reason with the other employees at least.
  • Charlie confronts Joe and asks him why he and the other employees got him fired in hopes of getting his job back, but he wants nothing to do with Charlie.
  • What did I ever do to you Joe, I understand why Gimpy would have wanted me gone, but why the rest of you?
  • I'll tell you what you did. You come pushing in here with you big ideas and make us all look like a bunch of dopes. But I'll tell you what, to me, you're still a moron.
