Storyboard Text

  • Mark Twain was a cub pilot on the steam boat Pennsylvania. There was also a pilot named Brown that was a horse faced, ignorant, mote magnifying, malicious man.
  • Mark stopped Mr. Brown from hitting Henry with a 10 pound lump of coal by hitting him with a heavy stool. After Brown fell to the ground, Mark pounded him as well thinking that he would go to the penitentiary either way and he should take this chance to square his long account with Mr. Brown.
  • Out with you!
  • After the incident, Brown did not want him and Mark to stay on the same boat and wanted one of them to be kicked off the ship so the captain told him that it would be himself.
