When I was a little baby, my parents would read to me every night (usually War and Peace or something)
“... if everyone fought for their own convictions there would be no war.”
Growing up, the only TV we had in our house was a tiny, bunny-ear set in my parents' room. So I entertained myself by playing outside and reading!
My big sister is so cool and pretty!
My sister and I shared a room and we had a huge collection of books that we would sneak out of bed at night to read
I loved reading in school too! I was very advanced in reading, but I hated assigned books that weren't interesting
I shouldn't be doing this because I have 3 papers to write, 17 articles to read, and I haven't slept in 78 hours...
Once I got to college, things got tough. I would only read a book on a rare occasion because I felt too busy! Reading became less of an activity and more of a chore
Today, I am hoping to MAKE time for reading, instead of just doing it when I have time to! I want to fall back in love with books!
