  • Irish immigrated to the Americas for many reasons. One of those reasons being the potato famine. They would move to America so that they could grow more potatoes . They were also trying o get away from the thirty years' war. There was about 65,000 to 100,000 people who moved to America. "Irish Immigration to America."
