Oh, Hi! My name is Professor Protista. Welcome to my classroom!
I am so glad that you could join me today. Do you have time for a quick science lesson?
Great! Biology is a blast! Let's use my PC to learn about my favorite subject: Protists!!!
Protists are organisms in the Kingdom "Protista," a type of eukaryotes! The Protists can be split into six different categories, or "supergroups," based on their characteristics.

Listed on the screen are the unique supergroups of Protists. Today we will be studying the supergroup Excavata!
Excavata contains "clades," or subgroups with organisms believed to have the same ancestor. The Diplomonads, Parabasalids, and the Euglenozoans, which can be further broken up into Euglenids and Kinetoplastids.
