  • I must go it wasn't just a dream I must follow my dharma.
  • "Surely you must not."
  • Chapter 3
  • I must follow my dharma!
  • Separation, the call: Jaya and Tamar were playing a game based upon luck and in their last round they bet themselves and Jaya won, know Jaya owns Tamar and can do what he wants with him.
  •  Chapter 4
  • I do not have to tell you who I am you will let me go by in peace.
  •  Separation, the option: Tamar woke up after a "dream" he had that seemed very realistic, he believes that the dream was true and he is upholding his dharma by deciding to go to Jaya even though he might die. Also another reason why he might be leaving is because he still has the ring that Jaya gave him in his dream.
  • Chapters 5-7

  • Seperation, leaving home, and citizens: Tamar decided to leave with Rajaswami, on his horse Gayatri a white horse, Rajaswami on Jagati on a gray horse.
  • Chapters 8-11

  • Initiation, an obstacle: Tamar and Rajaswami run into a hunter and are threatened by him. Thanks to Tamar's quick thinking they avoided the obstacle and made it out alive. For some reason Tamar not telling the hunter who he was.

  • Initiation, gathering of allies: Along the way Tamar gained two allies, Hashkat and Mirri. He saved Hashkat, the monkey so the monkey decided to join Tamar while searching for a lost monkey named Akka. Tamar met Mirri when he stumbled into her village, after some time in the village Mirri and Tamar soon fell in love. Tamar knew that he couldn't be with Mirri so he left, but Mirri followed him.
  • Initiation, gathering of allies/ obstacle: On Tamars way to Jaya he meets Jaya's bird that was on a mission but failed, Tamar is helping the bird by caring for the jewel that Garuda the bird should have delivered.Then Tamar ran into Ashwara while fighting of some cruel soldiers, another king who is at war with his cousin Nahusha. Tamar offers to help and is now with Ashwara
