  • How about we all go down to New York on this hot day?
  • On one of the hottest summers day; Nick, Jordan, Daisy, Tom, and Gatsby gather at the Buchanan's house. Daisy, hot and bored decides that they should all go out into the city.
  • With Daisy and Gatsby in a separate car, the other 3 find themselves outside the coffee shop. In a conversation with Tom and the owner, his wife Mrs. Wilson is said to be having a mystery affair so the two of them will be moving soon. In the distance we see Myrtle Wilson staring at who she thinks is Tom's wife in jealousy.
  • Within the city the group takes a room in a hotel. Conflict arises as Tom interrogates Gatsby, specifically about him attending Oxford. Finally, Tom confronts Gatsby about Daisy and their relationship. Gatsby wants Daisy to confess who she loves and does not but she has her own feelings. After things get heated Daisy and Gatsby depart shortly before the rest do.
  • Upon leaving, Daisy and Gatsby take the yellow car whereas Nick, Tom, and Jordan take the other one and head back down towards the Long Island to Tom and Daisy's house.
  • Following after the yellow car Nick, Tom, and Daisy arrive to a hit and run scene. Myrtle, the victim, was hit by was was said to be a yellow car. Tom begins to get anxious as that was his car and Nick concludes that Gatsby was the one driving at the time.
  • Once everyone made it back to the Buchanan's house Nick leaves Tom and the girls behind to sort things out realizing it's his 31st birthday. While walking down to his taxi Nick Finds Gatsby. Gatsby tells that Daisy was the driver but he will take the blame. Gatsby is still concerned about Daisy and her safety but Nick leaves back home wothout Gatsby.
