  • Sometimes, it's hard to know what to do when we see, hear, read or get told something that 'just doesnt feel right'. Its important we all feel we can 'SpeakUp!'
  • What do I do when I see something that just doesn't feel right?
  • I'm still not sure when it would be right for me to SpeakUp! What if my situation isn't the 'right type'?
  • There is no hard and fast rule for when it is 'right' to SpeakUp! However, if something makes you uncomfortable or it isnt 'right' then Speaking Up may be the right option.
  • In addition to the usual channels, your manager, their manager or HR,  you can use DAN's SpeakUp! line, to report concerns confidentially.
  • Who can I tell?
  • You can contact Legal, Ethics & Compliance or Risk & Audit for advice. However, DAN knows it can be easier to speak to someone external and engaged Safecall to provide SpeakUp!
  • What if I feel I can't say anything or I feel like nothing is being done? What other options are available to me?
  • The SpeakUp! helpline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is available in several languages.
