Waking up one summer morning, I was extremely excited to go on my family vacation to Tsuniah Lake. I had never been there before and I couldn't wait to get into the wilderness. Their were two flights that we had to take, in order to get there. Altogether it took four hours.
After an amazing breakfast, fishing was on everyones mind. It was an amazing break from all of the drama and basketball, back home.
Homemade food is the best and my family got served three fresh meals a day. They homemade everything from scratch and it was always so good that it was hard to stop eating. If someone slept in or was taking a nap, then they would miss the meal and hteir would not be any snacks, so they would have to wait for the next meal to be served.
At night, my sister and I made smores and sat by the fire. I was always afraid of going back to my cabin because of the bear that we had seen earlier.
Going on walks was a normal and relaxing adventure. Most of the time I would walk to go and see the horses. I loved doing this alone because a week without cell service, meant my family had to entertain each other.
Going on this trip made me realize my desire for horses. This vacation taught me that I can have more than one interest, besides basketball and it helped me begin my path into the horse industry.
