Boudicca was married to Prasutagus who was the ruler of the iceni people. Prasutagus died and the romans took over iceni.
Romans are also said to have stripped and flogged Boudicca and raped her daughters. Once they were in control.
In 61 AD, while the Roman governor Gaius Suetonius Paullinus was leading a campaign in North Wales, the Iceni rebelled. With Boudicca leading.
Boudicca would lead her men southeast of England to overcome Roman garrisons and destroy Roman settlements.
