  • come, he hath hid himself among these trees to be consorted with the humorous night: blind is his love, and best befits the dark.
  • -Nay ill conjure too. Romeo! humors! madman! passion! lover! appear thou in the likeness of a sigh, speak but one rhythm, and i am satisfied; cry but 'Ay me!',. -i conjure thee by Rosaline's bright eyes, by her high forehead and her scarlet lip, by her fine foot, her straight leg and quivering thigh.
  • Act 2, Scene 2
  • I take the at thy word: call me but love, and i'll be new baptis'd; henceforth i never will be Romeo
  • o Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? dent thy father and refuse the name; or if thou wilt not be but sworn my love, and i'll no longer be a capulet. 
  • Act 2, Scene 3
  • o she knew well they love did read by rote, that could not spell. but come, young waverer, come go with me, in one respect i'll thy assistant be: for this alliance may so happy prove to turn your housholds' rancour to pure love.
