Day 2: I love basketball, and today is my first game of this season. Although we have been doing some practices I still feel nervous. I'm scared I might not make it as a starter. Everyone says I am a natural at basketball, and that I am never really awkward in anyway on the court, but I still feel a bit nervous.
Beep!!! The whistle blew. Now was the time our coach told us who the five starters were, and guess what I WAS ONE OF THEM!! I was so happy. So the five of us headed onto the court, and even better I was the jumper. Beep!! The whistle blew again and I threw the ball to our side and one of my teammates caught it. We had the ball.
We made it to the basket, and one of my teammates threw the ball to me, and I quickly with ease made a layup. That was two points for our team, and we were in the lead.
By half- time we were all worn out because of all the running, but I was still ready and active for the next half.
We were near the end and were still in the lead. There was only two minutes left till the game was over. Then it hit me, I still didn't find my membean mystery word. I starting thinking hard then I got it.
The word was nimble because nimble means to move quickly with ease, skill, and agility. It also means lively, swift on her feet, never awkward in anyway. I was an example of a nimble person. I was swift, with ease, and never awkward in anyway on the basketball court.
