  • ASK A QUESTION
  • Does  the amount of light  a plant gets affect its growth?
  • 1.  ASK A QUESTION OR FIND A PROBLEM TO SOLVE
  •  I just got back from the school library with books about plants. Time to do some RESEARCH!
  • 2.  RESEARCH YOUR TOPIC WITH BOOKS OR SCIENTIFIC JOUNALS
  • RESEARCH THE PROBLEM
  • If I give plants a large amount of sunlight, then it should grow faster then plants without sunlight?
  • 3,  MAKE A HYPOTHESIS ( WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN?)
  • FORM A HYPOTHESIS
  • CONDUCT AN EXPERIMENT
  • Now it time to test my question multiple times to get a trustworthy answer!
  • 4.  NOW AFTER ALL THE RESEARCH ITS TIME TO CONDUCT THE EXPERIMENT ( MAKE SURE TO MAKE OBSERVATIONS)
  • According to my data, the plant with more sunlight is standing upright, while the plan that got no sumlight is very droopy.
  • ANALYZE THE DATA
  • 5.  MAKE SURE TO ANALYZE  YOUR DATA
  • DRAW A CONCLUSION
  • In my conclusion, I've discovered that my hypothesis was right. The amount of light a plants gets does effect the plants growth.
  • 6.  IN YOUR CONCLUSION,  MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE WHETHER YOUR HYPOTHESIS WAS RIGHT OR WRONG
