Storyboard Text

  • The narrator calls out to the Signalman, but the Signalman cannot see him
  • I am the narrator
  • A train comes rushing through the tunnel and makes the narrator step back in fear. He calls out to the Signalman again
  • The Signalman finally sees the narrator and points him towards the path.
  • I am the Signalman
  • The narrator climbs down to the Signalman
  • The Signalman scares me, is he a ghost? Is he mad? 
  • As they walk into the tunnel the Signalman tells the narrator about the red light. The Signalman tells the narrator that the  red light looks like him and that he thinks he has seen him before. 
  • The Signalman explains that he doesn't like to leave his bell because if it rings that means a train is coming and if he worries about missing the ring. 
  • This is my bell
  • I have written my own language and taught myself maths
