Moses asked the Pharaoh to let his people go but he said no. God sent the ten plagues so the pharaoh would change his mind. The first plague was the" Angel of Death". It took the lives of the first born child if you did not have blood on your door. The Jews put lambs blood on their doors to protect themselves from this. The pharaoh's son died and he finally agreed to let the Hebrews go.

Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. He parted the Red Sea in half and led his people through it to the promised land. However the pharaoh would not let them pass. The pharaoh sent his men to go after him but they reached the land quickly enough and the sea closed on the pharaohs men. Moses and his people were finally free.
