Storyboard Text

  • The Ordinary World
  • The Call to Adventure
  • Refusing the Call
  • Noah, his wife, his three sons and three daughter-in-laws all lived together in one house near the city of Uruk (Southern Babylonia).
  • Tests/Allies/Enemies
  • God came to Noah because we was upset with mankind and told him to build an Ark before the Great Flood. He had to build it big enough to include his entire family and a male and female of each species alive.
  • Reward
  • While constructing the arc out of gopher wood, Noah had many doubts and fears about not finishing his task on time. He also felt concerned about the boat not being able to protect everyone.
  • Return
  • While loading up all of the animals onto the boat, Noah gained the knowledge that he was recreating the world. He also became closer to his family through this time as they were his only resources.
  • After being on the Ark for 150 days, Noah became more aware of the power of God and what he is capable of. He also came to understand how important he was in the world.
  • Once the flood was over, Noah released all of the animals back into the world, stepped foot on the new dry land, built an altar for the Lord and offered burnt offerings. The Lord was pleased and decided to never destroy anything on the account of man.
