Storyboard Text

  • Ouch! I cut my finger! I'm bleeding!
  • Mark was in the kitchen cooking some dinner, when all of a sudden he cut his finger while cutting up some veggies!
  • Mark goes to the bathroom to wash it off, and put a band-aid on it.  The cut acts a stimulus to the receptors which respond to the stimuli.
  • Positive feedback is then intiated
  • The receptors sends the stimulus to the control center (brain) to determine the appropriate response.
  • Brain sends a signal to release platelets to patch up the cut (form a blood clot to stop the bleeding)
  • More platelets will continue to be released until the cut has fully healed.
