Ouch! I cut my finger! I'm bleeding!
Mark was in the kitchen cooking some dinner, when all of a sudden he cut his finger while cutting up some veggies!
Mark goes to the bathroom to wash it off, and put a band-aid on it. The cut acts a stimulus to the receptors which respond to the stimuli.
Positive feedback is then intiated
The receptors sends the stimulus to the control center (brain) to determine the appropriate response.
Brain sends a signal to release platelets to patch up the cut (form a blood clot to stop the bleeding)
More platelets will continue to be released until the cut has fully healed.
