To represent the pattern you can, use an equation.
You can also represent the pattern with a graph.
Another way is by using a T-chart.
The variable is what the pattern goes up or down by. In this pattern the variable is two.
First lets find the variable.
Now lets find the constant. We have to go to ground zero to find it.
If you subtract the first figure number by the variable you can find the constant.
The constant would be three.
Now we can make our graph. equation or t-chart.
