Storyboard Text

  • Who in the crowd is calling me? I hear a voice louder than these trumpets calling “Caesar!” Speak. Caesar is listening.
  • Who’s that?
  • Whose calling me?
  • Caesar
  • Bring him in front of me. Let me see his face.
  • Caesar!
  • Casca
  • You, fellow, step out of the crowd. This is Caesar you’re looking at.
  • Beware of March 15th.
  • Soothsayer
  • Quiet, everyone! Quiet!
  • Cassius
  • A soothsayer tells you to beware of March 15th.
  • Brutus
  • What do you have to say to me now? Speak once again.
  • He’s insane. Let’s leave him. Move on.
  • Caesar
  • Everyone leaves except Brutus and Cassius
  • Casca
  • Beware of March 15th.
  • Soothsayer
  • Cassius
  • Brutus
  • You seem less good-natured and affectionate toward me than usual.
  • Please, come.
  • Are you going to watch the race?
  • Cassius, don’t take it badly, I’m uneasy with myself. Lately, I’ve been overwhelmed with inner conflicts. But this shouldn’t trouble my good friends—and I consider you a good friend. Don’t think anything more about my distraction than that I, who is at war with myself, forgets to show affection to others.
  • Cassius
  • After Long Conversation. Caesar Enters With Casca.
  • Not me.
  • Brutus
  • I don’t like sports. But don’t let me keep you from going, Cassius.
  • Cassius
  • Casca
  • Brutus
  • That Cassius over there has a lean and hungry look, he thinks too much. Men like him are dangerous.
  • Caesar?
  • Antony
  • Antonio!
  • Caesar
