  • At first, the people traveling the dangerous waters used only small rafts and canoes to reach other islands. As you can imagine, this was not the safest idea so they switched to a more sophisticated travel method.Such as stronger canoes that were more stable and able to carry more weight.
  • Rabbits were brought to Europe for hunting and raising purposes. The population started with 24 rabbits but grew rapidly to more than 1 billion rabbits. The rabbits caused decrease in plant growth  and endangered native animals. To stop the spread of the rabbits foxes were imported but resulted in the same problem as the rabbits. Many attempts at distinguishing the population have been tried and none have been successful.
  • Bikini islanders were moved to another atoll and the U.S conducted 60 atomic tests. The most dramatic one was the explosion of a hydrogen bomb that was code named Bravo. The blast vaporized several islands and contaminated the entire area with high levels of radiation. The Bikini islanders still remained exiled from their homeland because of unhealthy living conditions.
