Emily is on her phone instead of talking to me, I'm obviously not good enough to her, that's why she isn't talking to me
One: What happened
OMG!!! Regina just texted, she has the BEST gossip
Amelia is gossiping with other friends and it makes me feel very frustrated and disappointed because she would rather text them then talk to men, when I'm right here.
I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU, EMILY!
Hey Amelia! Hows it going
Amelia and her best friend Emily, are having a sleepover that they have been planning for a long time. Emily is on her phone texting her other friends and not interacting with Amelia.
Four: Self awareness
I shouldn't of yelled at Emily today its just, she made me so sad and wonder if I mattered to her? I took it out on her before explaining how I felt which I feel so bad about
This makes Emily feel very frustrated and sad, it makes her question her worth and her friendship with Amelia. This upsets Emily because it makes her feel lonely.
I am going to go for a run and listen to some music to calm me down and make me feel better
The Next day; Emily greets Amelia unaware that she upset Emily last night, then un-expectedly Amelia snaps and yells at Emily because she was feeling hurt and rejection.
Six: Repair relationships
Hey Emily! Im sorry I yelled at you yesterday in the hall, I felt sad because you were texting and calling others at our sleepover but I shouldn't of yelled at you I shoaled talked to you about it instead of acting out, I'm sorry, I hope you can forgive me.
Once Amelia gets home from school, she is by herself and becomes aware of her actions and the negative effects that it had on her emotions such as guilt and shame, she brainstorms a. solution that could regulate these emotions.
She decides to go for a run and listen to music to regulate her emotions and take her from feeling guilt and shame to feeling calmer about the situation and find a solution for the issue.
At school the next day... Amelia goes up to Emily and apologises for her actions, so does Emily. They both agree to not text other friends while they are both together and if another issue comes up they will walk about it rather than lashing out at each other.
Hey Amelia, Im so sorry, it was my fault I shouldn't have been on my phone, I should've been. talking and bonding with you and that makes me feel disappointed in myself, I hope you can forgive me
