On the 4 May, a bunch of friends my dad knew, including Caitlin, went to London, on the train, to watch the Women's FA cup final at Wembley stadium. The kick-off was at 17:30 and I found out that Libby was in the crowd but Caitlin and I didn't spot her.
For the first half, there wasn't a goal but when there was one in the second half. I cheered because I wasn't supporting any of the teams. Keira Walsh scored the first goal then Georgia Stanway and finally Lauren Kemp to make it 3-0.
THE WOMEN'S FA CUP FINAL
Then the rain started to tip down and we all got soaked. Just before half-time, my dad got 3 bags of popcorn half the size of my body! My favourite West Ham player was Alisha Lehmann, because she has got an amazing pace and is always in the right place.
WEST HAM VS MAN CITY LADIES
My favourite player from Man City is Steph Houghton, because she believes if you try hard you can do anything. I also think that no one is ever a natural talent. The player of the match was Georgia Stanway who scored the second goal.
The problem with men and women's football is that they are the same and the English women are sometimes better than the men's, but they get paid less, which I personally think is wrong. Hopefully, that will change one day.
