Storyboard Text

  • "I am really having a hard time with coordination and walking since the car accident."
  • "Hi Dr. Fry. Mr. Smith in room 3 says he is having trouble walking since the accident. Could you order Physical Therapy to work with him?"
  • "Yes, that sounds like a great plan. I will put the order in, thanks for letting me know."
  • "Hi Susie, I feel much better after working with physical therapy, they showed me some cool exercises I can do in my room!"
  • "That's wonderful Mr. Fry, I'm glad you are happy with your care."
  • Mr. Fry is telling his nurse that he is having trouble walking since his car accident. He is admitted to the hospital for recovery from his accident.
  • As the patient's advocate, the nurse (Susie) communicates the patient's complaint to the doctor in order to get proper treatment for the patient.
  • Due to the nurse being a good advocate for this patient, his physical needs are met and is happy with his treatment provided, which is a responsibility of the nurse.
