  • The Fresh Revolution Introduction
  • Bread
  • Factors That Lead to the Revolution
  • Why do we have to pay taxes when the rich people don't?!?
  • How am I suppose to buy bread for my family with taxes this high!?!
  • We should start a revolution, America did it so why can't we!?!
  • I agree I want that too, and what's best for you is best for me too.
  • Meeting of The Estates General
  • But I have the most people and its not good for us, this isn't fair we are going to break away!!!
  • Second Estate
  • I want what is best for me.
  • First Estate
  • Third Estate
  • The French Revolution was from 1789-1799. Peasants rose up against the French monarchy demanding a change with the estates system, and everything that went with it.
  • The Tennis Court Oath
  • We all want a new constitution!!!
  • There are multiple things that lead to the French Revolution, but I think 3 things had the biggest impact. 1. The first and second estates didn't have to pay the the taxes that the thirst estates did. 2. Taxes on bread rose. 3. America just had their relovution, and won.
  • The Storming of the Bastille
  • Come on guys, lets get that gunpowder!!!!
  • Yeah lets do it!!!!!!!
  • The Estates General was all three estates coming together to vote on something. This wasn't exactly fair, each estate only got one vote. The first and second rich estates could always out vote the third estate. The third estate decided to brake off and call themselves the National Assembly. They passed laws and reforms in the name of the French people. It ended absolute monarchy and began a representative government.
  • The Great Fear
  • I have a great idea, lets all panic senselessly and become outlaws!!
  • We agree, lets do it!!!
  • The National Assembly found themselves locked out of their meeting room. They all broke down a door to an indoor tennis court and stayed there until a new constitution was drawn up.
  • Rumors were going around about what King Louis was going to de about the National Assembly. Members of the third estate gathered weapons and stormed the Bastille looking for gunpowder.
  • The Great Fear was a wave of panic among the French peasants and they started to become outlaws themselves.
