  • Exposition
  • at 6.10, 2 October, in Reading Room of the Reform Club
  • I bet twenty thousand pounds that I could.
  • It's impossible that you could go round the world in 80 days
  • Conflict
  • At 11 pm,7 December on the train to New York
  • Rising Action
  • We are all lost if the train does not stop in five minutes
  • Stay where you are, sir. This is my job!
  • The train will stop!
  • 21 December
  •     Phileas Fogg, a young rich gentle Englishman, who was extremly calm and regular, always did exactly the same things in exactly the same way every day in Reform club. However, one day he made a unbelievable bet with his friend Mr Stuart for twenty thousand pounds that he would go round the world in eighty days. And to Mr Stuart surprise, Mr Fogg intended to set out this night, along with his new servant Passepartout, a polite Frenchman who was employed not long ago.
  • Climax
  • Here I am, gentlemen!
  • At 8.45,2 October in Charing Cross Station
  • 21 December
  •     At 8.45, Mr Fogg and Passepartout packed up nothing except a suitcase with a large packet of bank notes and set out without hesitation. When the train left ,their journey began. And in their exciting  journey, a large number of unpredictable events were waiting for them to solve. What's more, in order to fulfill his Mr Fogg's bet on time, they had to fight against every second to handle any trouble they came across.
  • Falling Action
  •        After getting on the train  from San Francisco to New York, Unfortunately, when they were getting close to Fort Kearney Station, Bang! Bang! Bang!Suddenly, loud shots came from the outside - all along the train.A Hundred Indians attacked the train! Though most passengers fought against them, Indians would capture the train if the trian didn't stop and pass the point. As Mr Fogg  prepared to rush out of the carriage. Passepartout quickly open the outer door to  climb down under one of the carriages. Eventually,he managed to undo the heavy iron hooks that joined the carriages to the engine.
  • Resolution
  • On the Saturday evening the five gentlemen had met at the Reform Club at eight o'clock. Some of them had thought that Mr Fogg must have been failed to come back on time with great pleasure.Just as they were talking about their marverlous success to win the bet and get the money, Mr Fogg showed up.And there's no need to say that he won the bet perfectly. How dissapointed that those gentlemen were.
  • Tomorrow we shall only have to go to the bank and collect the money
  • We must wait.He never gets anywhere too late or too early.
  • If Phileas Fogg had come by the 7.23 he would already be here. We may safely say that we have won the bet.
  • Even if I saw him I wouldn't believe it. He has certainly lost.
  • How kind and generous Phileas is that he gave each half of the rest of the money to Passepartout and Mr Fix equally,  That same evening Mr Fogg, as calmly and coldly as usual, asking Aouda to marry him. Since everytime she went through, Nr Fogg was standing by her stand, there was no reason that she were not willing to marry him. The wonderful and romantic marriage took place forty-eight hours later and Passepartout, in a state of joy, had the place of honour by the lady's side at the church.
  • How was it possible that Phileas finally caught up and won the bet after all these problem happened? It's obvious that he was supposed to be late for 5 minutes.Whereas,Phileas Fogg had made his journey by going east. As he travelled towards the sun, the days got shorter by four minutes every time he crossed one of the 360 degrees by which the earth is measured.
