Back before the Industrial Revolution, most people lived in rural, farming areas
If the family had kids, they would often send them to go work on the family farm daily but for only about 2 hours a day
Most families before the industrial revolution struggled to afford food b/c most of their money that is collected was there recent harvest Family would often stocked up on all of there products and food.
When the Industrial Revolution hit, most families moved into the city so find more work
During the Industrial Revolution, families had to send there kids to go work at the factories.
Kids working at the factory can vary from age and ability. Most kids would be working from dawn to dusk every day. Not every kid was able ot make it bake home. Lots of lives were lost, and many injured cuased by the very poor working conditions of the factories
