Storyboard Text

  • Meet John he has just lost his job because his company was making too many telephones and no one was buying them so his company had to lay off workers so they did not go bankrupt. Now John no longer has enough money for food.
  •  I am so hungry but I don’t have a job to buy food!
  • This is the granny’s cafe they are offering free soup to the unemployed
  • Wait what is this
  • Soup is relatively inexpensive, has many nutrients and you can make soup in big quantities.  It is funded by a church and some small charity organizations.
  • Why soup?
  • Hooray!
  • Way back there.
  • Sounds great where can I get in line?
  • Well, hundreds of people come here every day as their primary sources of food, men women, children it is sad really.
  • Murder! That is Wacky!
  • Now that John knows about the soup kitchen he can go there to eat till he gets back on his feet.
  • How did I not know about this before?
  • I guess you just weren't wandering around the right parts of town. Soup kitchens are popping up mostly where there is the highest rate of unemployment.
