Storyboard Text

  • Act 2-Scene 1
  • The chamberlains are asleep, time do as we had planned
  • It is only I who sees a bloody dagger that is pointing towards the king. This is nonsense it's just an uneasy feeling about us killing the king, isn't it?
  • Act 2-Scene 2
  • The deed is done and the king is dead. I forgot to put the daggers by the chamberlains, I can't get their prayer out of my head. I wanted to say 'amen' more than anything after the prayer, but the word was stuck in my throat.
  • How could you have forgotten to grab the daggers?! I can't believe I have to go finish what you weren't able to. I'd be ashamed of myself if I was as cowardly as you are.
  • Malcolm: We need to get out of here. We aren't safe, with our father killed we will probably be their next target.
  • Act 2-Scene 3
  • Macduff:The king has been murdered!! I don't understand, the chamberlains and now the king, dead! None of this makes sense!?
  • Donalbain: I agree
  • Macbeth: Once I had found out that the chamberlains had killed the king, I couldn't couldn't contain my anger. Out of rage I killed the chamberlains for what they had done to the king.
  • This is when Lady Macbeth and Macbeth plan to kill the king and his chamberlains.Macbeth starts to imagine a floating dagger covered in blood because he is nervous and kind of second guessing killing the king.
  • Act 3-Scene 1
  • Macbeth: Are these the two men that were out in the hall awaiting to continue our previous conversation? Are you two enraged and brave enough to kill Banquo?
  • Lady Macbeth: You must get rid of him, do whatever you have to do in order to make sure he is vanished.
  • After they have killed both the king and his chamberlains, Macbeth had forgottent o place the bloody daggers by the dead men who they will soon blame for the death of the king. Lady Macbeth is furious and doesntunderstand how he couldve just 'forgotten' to do that. So infuriated she goes back and places the daggers by the chamberlains.
  • Act 3-Scene 2
  • We have still threats to our throne, and they will be taken care of. I have planned a deed dreadful note for Banquo and his son. You need to remain kind and pleasant for tonight's dinner,so we can lure them in.
  • I had the servant fetch you, we need to discuss our plan.
  • The day before the king was killed hehad requuested for Macduff to come and wak ehim early that morning. Macduff found the king dead and Macbeth said he had seen that the chamberlains had killed the king, so out of rage he killed the chmaberlains. With everyone confused and scared Malcolm and Donalbain both agree they are not safe and they need to flee the town.
  • Act 3-Scene 3
  • Fleance: I will father, I won't let them get away with this!
  • Yes I am your honor, I promise to make sure Banquo will no longer be a threat to you.
  • Macbeth had planned to invite Banquo and his son to have a dinner at his castle to discuss the murder of the king and how his sons fled. Macbeth really has a plan to make Banquo believe him and Macbeth are still friends. But Macbeth secretly hired two poor men and made them go on the mission to kill Banquo and his son, the next day after the dinner.
  • I assure you myself I am enraged enough to kill Banquo, I too promise to get the job done.
  • Lady Macbeth shortly starts to become despair with her and Macbeth's plan about killing Banquo and Fleance. Macbeth reassures her that she has no need to worry and that the job will get done. They still have other threats that need to be taken care of too, but as of then Banquo was the biggest threat to Macbeth.
  • As the two men hired by Macbeth to kill Banquo and his son stake out to await their victims tpo get back from riding horses. They see them coming up the path were they are hidden. One of the men jumps out and kills Banquo, while Banquo yells to Fleance to get away and revenge his death. The other man is after his son, but shortly returns to help get Banquo's body to Macbeth.
  • Murder1: I've killed Banquo!!
