Storyboard Text

  • "The Most Dangerous Game" General Zaroff
  • Zaroff Trait One: Courteous
  • Welcome, Mr. Sanger Rainsford.
  • Trait One (continued)
  • Come, we shouldn't be chatting here. We can talk later. Now you want clothes, food, rest. You shall have them. This is a most restful spot.
  • This is General Zaroff from "The Most Dangerous Game." Three of his traits are courteous, calm, and confident.
  • Zaroff Trait Two: Calm
  • I got him! Wait, it only injured him.
  • Zaroff is courteous. He welcomes Rainsford and treats him as a guest.
  • Zaroff Trait Two (continued)
  • Rainsford, if you are within the sound of my voice,as I suppose you are, let me congratulate you. Not many men know how to make a Malay man catcher.
  • When Rainsford first meets Zaroff, Zaroff offers Rainsford food, clothes and rest. This shows that he cared enough to seem polite to his guest.
  • Zaroff Trait Three: Confident
  • No animal had a chance with me anymore. That is no boast; it is a mathematical certainty.
  • Zaroff is calm. He has shown this multiple times, from when he hides his anger to when he doesn't get mad when he is injured or one of his hounds is killed.
  • Even after being injured by Rainsford's trap, Zaaroff doesn't get mad. He even congratulates Rainsford.
  • Zaroff is also confident. He tells Rainsford that no animal had a chance with him. He also said he has not lost a game yet. This shows how much confidence he has in his hunting skills.
