Storyboard Text

  • Caesar asks a servant to ask a priest to interpret his wife, Calphurnia's, dream.
  • Calphurnia cried out three times in her sleep "They murdered Caesar"! Go ask a priest what this means.
  • I will, my Lord.
  • Calphurnia explains her dream to Caesar. She exclaims she's never been so scared.
  • A lioness gave birth on the streets and dead people came out of graves. Blood was running onto the capitol from above!
  • Battle sounds were everywhere and horses shrieked. Dying men and ghosts groaned and squealed!
  • She is worried for Caesar.
  • Caesar is too arrogant to take her dream seriously. The servant also states it is unsafe for Caesar to leave today.
  • You shouldn't leave your house today.
  • I'm not a coward! Nothing will hurt me.
  • I can't avoid my fate.
  • Calpurnia explains to Caesar her worries about his traveling to the senate and he agrees not to go.
  • Please stay home Caesar I am scared for your safety.
  • Alright, I will stay home.
  • Decius Brutus comes to bring Caesar to the senate, but Caesar listens to his wife's concerns.
  • I have come to get you to travel to the senate
