Richard Fiedler is in his labratory inventing the flame thrower for the German army in 1915 with his assistant Rick Harrison.
Oh no, Rick accidentally swallowed some very powerful chemicals. What a shame.
Dr. Fiedler decides to test the flamethrower but Rick does not hear his warning. The flames hit Rick, catching him on fire.
Rick doesn't feel the burn but the fire will not go out. He soon learns he is immune to the fire. It must be because of the chemicals he consumed.
Rick sees a man with a poster and decides to enlist in the army. He thinks his new power will help win the war.
Don't be a scaredy cat, enlist in the German army today.
When he arrives, someone names him "Fire Boii". This then sparked Rick's interest of becoming a hero.
