Storyboard Text

  • Lepidus leaves the conversation, which leaves only Brutus and Octavius. Brutus thinks Lepidus is useless. He assumes he is easily manipulated. Octavius thinks that because he is a good soldier, that he will be useful
  • He is useful. You may do your will, but he is a tried and valiant soldier.
  •
  • So is my horse, Octavius.
  • At a camp in Sardis, Brutus meets with Pindarus and Titinius with others. Cassius and his Powers later come to the scene. Cassius tells Brutus he has done him wrong after Brutus ignored his commands.
  • Most noble brother, you have done me wrong.
  • Judge me, you gods! Wrong I mine enemies? And if not so, how should I wrong a brother?
  • Brutus and Cassius begin to fight in front of Brutus' tent. Then go inside to not scare the soldiers.
  • Agreed. Let's go inside.
  • Speak your griefs softly; I do know you well. Before the eyes of both our armies here let us not wrangle.
  • Brutus and Cassius begin to fight again. Cassius is upset that Brutus ridiculed Lucius for taking bribes when Cassius told Brutus not to. But then they eventually make up after Brutus informs Cassius on Portia's death.
  • Do not presume too much upon my love. I may do that I shall be sorry for
  • Give me a bowl of wine. In this I bury all unkindess, Cassius.
  • Messala and Titinius then walk in. Messala doesn't want to give Brutus the truth about Portia, but then Brutus shows he already knows and asked how it happened.
  • How did it happen?
  • Then the Roman bear the truth I tell. For certain she is dead, and by a strange manner.
  • When Brutus sleeps, he sees the ghost of Caesar. Caesar says he will see him in Phillipi, which is a bad omen. When Brutus asks if anyone saw it, too, no one did.
  • Thous shalt see me in Phillipi
