" A tale of marriage at its finest."
Once upon a time their was a chloride and a sodium. They had been working together for 4 years. They had been dating for 3 years.. But before we get into the story lets give a background on each atom.
This is Chlorine. He has a oxidation number of a negative 1 charge making him a anion. His group number is 17. Chlorine is a member of the halogen family. He has 7 valence electrons.
Her name is Sodium. She has a oxidation number of a positive 1 charge making her a cation. Her group number is 11. Sodium is a member of the alkali metal family. She has 8 valence electrons.
Back to the story, Chloride decided that he was ready to take things to the next level with Sodium. He purposed to her , and she said yes. They were full of joy until they realized that chlorine parents wanted him to marry another non- metal but he didnt want to
His parents decided to talk to her parents but it didnt go very well. They ended up having a huge argument . They just decided to get married to see how her parents would feel. NA and Cl combined to make a polyatomic ion called minural.
In the end they lived happily ever after, and their parents finally approved them together as a unity. They were so happy that they bonded and the transfer election was the chlorine transferred the atom to sodium.
