Storyboard Text

  • If you don't give me the purse that you just purchased, I will tell your husband the truth about how you cheated on him.
  • Anna
  • Oh, no! I know she is blackmailing, but I don't think I have another choice but to give her my new favorite purse. I don't want her to divulge my darkest secret to my husband.
  • Sarah
  • YES, I'll be getting the purse that I desire...hehe
  • Anna
  • Alright...fine. I will hand you my purse. Let me go to my house to retrieve it.
  • Sarah
  • This is an example of blackmail: a criminal offense of demanding a benefit from someone in return for not revealing compromising/damaging information about them. Anna is threatening to tell Sarah's husband that Sarah cheated on him. Anna seeks to own Sarah's new purse. Sarah is reluctant to hand the new purse to Anna, as she bought it recently and it is her favorite purse. However, Sarah ultimately doesn't want her husband to discover that she cheated on him, so she gives Anna the purse.
