"The Dangerous Game" Irony
This storyboard does not have a description.
Now you want clothes , food, rest. You shall have them this is a most restful place.
I needed a new animal. I found one.
"Dear me", said the general, quite unruffled, "again the unpleasant word."
The General gives Rainsford clothes, food, and rest so he will be healthy so the General can hunt. This helps the reader understand that the only reason the General helps people is so he can hunt them.
He says he found a new animal. That animal is actually people. The irony is how he said he found an animal that can reason, but Rainsford knows the only animal that can reason would actually be a person.
When the General says "that unpleasant word" he is very calm, that's what unruffled means, so he doesn't really mean what he says. He actually means he doesn't care that he hunts people.
