  • Alice Paul
  • This is the story(board) of how Alice Paul and Lucy Burns changed America's out look on women's rights
  • Lucy Burns
  • If our society has abloished slavery already then why can we as women not even vote?!
  • Alice Paul and Lucy Burns get together and decide that women not being able to vote is unjust and that they should change it
  • I know! Why don't we try to change that by protesting for female's rights?! after all, we need popular sovereignty
  • Give us our right to vote! We deserve our right to vote!
  • They begin protesting along with some other women
  • The amendment was brought up to the congress in 1919
  • So ladies why should I let your amendment pass?
  • Many women came in to give their outlooks as to why the amendment should pass, Alice Paul and Lucy Burns were just two of the many
  • women should get the right to vote because there will never be a new world order until women are part of it. Also, we women of America tell you that America is not a democracy. Twenty million women are still denies the right to vote.
  • Eventually in 1920 the amendment was passed and women were given their rights
  • Well because of your amazing speech, and our checks and balances systems, your amendment has been passed.
