- Snapchat all started when a group of boys, Evan Spiegel, Reggie Brown, and Bobby Murphy, were grouped together for a group project due for a design class they were taking at Stanford University.
- Finished Product
- They had to think about ideas for a while before they were able to decide on a multimedia app now known as Snapchat.
- Finally Usable
- -messaging system - 24 hour stories -able to edit pictures -filters -mobile
- They worked hours on end coding to make sure the app was perfect for when they had to present in front of the class.
- World-Wide Content
- WOW this is GREAT!
- Once they finally finished their coding of the app, they presented it to the class and it is pretty safe to assume they got a good grade.
- Snapchat then launched as an official app in September of 2011. It is used by many to simply snap a photo, send it to some friends and maybe even add it to their story. It is also used to communicate to people through the direct messaging system found on the app, group or one on one.
- OMG I love the cute dog filter...augumented reality is so fun
- This app operates on iOS and Android. This makes the app open to anyone with a cellular phone. The app is also worldwide meaning someone on the other side of the globe could be on Snapchat as well.
