  • All of the soldiers leave at night for Trenton, walking miles hoping to catch them at night and surprise them. The walk is long but they make it and soon realize that they are going to have to fight during the day.
  • The soldiers catch the Hessians by surprise and quickly knock them down one by one, the Hessians try to fight back, but the colonists have a better advantage. The colonists quickly beat them and Rall surrenders.
