I'm the interviewer
I feel confident.
On the day of the interview, which was on a Thursday afternoon virtually via through a Zoom meeting, on Oct 28th at 4:30 pm, I found myself sitting on my living room's couch with my parents, which happened, to be an 1hr or so before the interview. During this time, I was talking to myself the whole time and, I was shaking my legs because I was telling myself: "I am dreading this interview" (HYPERBOLE). After a while there, I got tired of it and stopped shaking my legs, and talking to myself for a little while.
Event 3: I am talking, listening, and responding to the interviewer's questions and comments.
I'm the interviewer
I feel confident.
After about 50 min or so, I had said to my parents, that I am now going to go upstairs to my study area and prepare myself for this interview. So I had gone ahead and did that. As soon, as I was prepared for the interview, I had sat in my chair for a while and I was talking to myself again. Thoughts such as: "Oh gosh I'm sweating because I am anxious" (HYPERBOLE). After a while, I had clicked the Zoom link, and waiting for the host to begin the meeting.
Event 4: DONE!
Lastly, I was waiting for the host to begin the interview for about 10-15 min or so. After that, the interview had begun. I had started to touch the keyboard of my laptop to type in the chatbox, "when are we beginning this meeting" (Sensory Language: FEEL). Afterwards, I had then started to hear the sounds of the interviewer's voice that was so quiet (Sensory Language: HEAR). Lastly, I could see the interviewer's screen changing and it made me think that maybe we are going to start the interview.
see (seeing).
I love this college!!
After the interview was all done, I had decided to go up and go to bed. As I was laying in bed. the thought of the symbolism of the meeting had come into my mind. I realized that the symbolism of the interview, was that it was not only preparing me for college, but for my future (i.e. job interviews, speaking out or giving a speech in front of a huge crowd, and other things, of that nature). After, I had realized that it made me feel more confident in myself.
