Storyboard Text

  • Newtons First Law: An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
  • So the football is not moving, but when she kicks it with force, it flies up in the air.
  • Newton's Second Law: The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.
  • He will have to hit the ball pretty hard in order for the ball to travel farther.
  • When they are boxing they have to get rough so they have to apply the same amount of force or else they are going to get hurt.
  •  For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
