Alright, guys... there's only a few minutes until the bell rings. Why don't you go ahead and walk to lunch?

Every day at the end of Earth Science, Mr. Erney lets a couple students go early to lunch. They walk quietly down the hallway to the small or large commons.
Before students go through the line to get their lunch, they set their backpacks down at the they're going to sit, since that is one of the rules at BHS.
Each student checks to see if an adult is there to serve to food and at the register, to make sure they are going through an open line. They make sure not to touch any tray or food that is not their own. Then, they answer questions from cafeteria staff about what they would like to eat.
Everyone takes either a fruit or a veggie. For their fruit choice, students can take one juice AND one fruit bowl- OR just one of the two options.
When students push their trays in front of the napkins, condiments, and number pad, they choose mayo, ketchup, and/or mustard. They remember these rules:
Once they are out of line, they enjoy eating lunch and socializing with their friends- or spending some time playing games to take a break.
