Rome is the capital city of the Roman civilization, founded in around 700 B.C.E. The first people to live in Rome were the Latins, who built their village on the Palatine hill that overlooked the Tiber River.
Influence of Etruscan Sports
Romulus and Remus were two twin brothers who were meant ot be killed as babies, but survived by a shewolf taking care of them. The brothers grew up and realized they were meant to have the throne and they fought over what to name their city where the shewolf took care of them. Romeulus won and named the city Rome and Remus was killed.
Influence of Greek Architechture
The Etruscan influenced the Romans in man ways staring off with the arch. They also had what we call cuniculus. Both of these things were use by the Roman.

The Estruscans also had a big impact because of their sports. Some sports including slave fighting, chariot racing, and gladiator fighting.
Greece also influenced the Romans a lot. Starting with their amazing columns. There is also areas of the Colosseum that have part of Greek in it.
The Romans wrote in all capital letter, they used a modified version of the Greek alphabet, and they used the Greek art of making pottery. Roman sculptors were also very detailed in their works. Last the Romans believed in the same Greek gods they just changed the names.
