Dinitia who used to bully Jeanette, start becoming friends and do some adventures together. Dinitia starts to see some of Jeanette's scar. A man came to Walls' household from child welfare, asking Jeanette a series of questions. After he leaves, Jeanette goes exploring. Kids start getting jobs to start helping pay the bills for the house. Mom finally gets a job and brings home her check.
