What if they can't help him?
I'm so nervous for the IEP meeting!
Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Jones. I am, Mrs. Carlson, the school special education teacher. I can answer any questions you might have before the meeting. If there aren't any you can follow me to the conference room.
Jack's IEP Meeting Spring 2018
I'm Mr. Smith, your son's Principal and I will be moderating the meeting
Good afternoon, I am your son's fifth grade teacher, Mr. Barnes. I have made accommodations and modifications, however, Jack still needs specialized personal instructions to further his learning.
Hello Mr. and Mrs. Jones, I am the school psychologist, Mr. Song. After a few sessions, and reviewing his test results I believe Jack needs specialized education.
After consulting with one another, we have created an IEP plan for Jack that includes meeting with me for an hour and a half every day. This meeting would be one on one, and involve focused attention on his reading comprehension skills.
We are so thankful for your effort in making sure our child receives the extra assistance he needs. We are in agreement with the IEP plan, and can't wait to see how it helps Jack!
