  • I think he likes it, and I do too! I mean we won't know for sure unless we test it out so lets start working on how we can install this. Where do you plan on attach the shoulder restraint? Is it going to be attached to the seat or to the roof?
  • I was going to attach it to the seat but then I thought about attaching the shoulder restraint to the side of the car near the doors
  • I guess that would work.
  • Hi guys! I may have come up with an idea!
  • The idea came to me after I lost control of my car and veered of the road last week. You know how my wife and I put our hands out to stop our daughter from hitting the dashboard?
  • So did Nils. What were you thinking?
  • Well, "during the ride home I couldn't stop thinking about the accident. I asked myself, 'why couldn't some object come out to stop you from striking the inside of the car?'"(DIrksen, n.d.). I spent the next few nights coming up with sketches but then I thought about my time in the Navy. When I was repairing a torpedo with a canvas covering the compressed air that was in the torpedo was released and the air inflated the canvas very quickly. I came up with a similar system to put in Herbie (Dirksen, n.d.).
